Hello...
I just received another message today from one of the Wild Camping user groups. It seems like this is all the rage!
Whilst many camping holidays revolve around campsites, the idea of the Wild Camper is to stay somewhere free of charge, perhaps in a beauty spot or in a town, generally only one night in one place.
To me, this is where campervans really come into their own. The freedom to park and then stay almost anywhere is amazing! Pull up the handbrake and put the kettle on...
Contrary to popular belief, it is quite legal to sleep in your camper overnight almost anywhere - unless local Byelaws prohibit it. We have certainly tried lots of places ourselves [nb: disclaimer: please check! without prejudice...]
Anyway, Happy Camping

Lowest priced brand new camper in the UK?
Thanks to successful negotiations with our suppliers, we are now selling brand new campers for just £24,995. That’s the lowest priced brand new camper van in the UK, as far as we know!
The brand new Vauxhall Vivaro camper vans will be completely brand new, inside and out, can be customised to your exact specification and are 2-berth. We are also offering an elevating roof [pop-top] version, for £27,495, with roof bed rails for expansion to 4/5-berth.
We are able to convert our campers to your own specifications so we are confident that we can meet all of your campervan requirements at Sussex Campers. If you’re currently looking for a campervan then we’d love to see how we can help you.
But hurry, this special price is only available throughout September, on a first-come, first-served basis. Vehicles built to order, and delivery estimated in 4 weeks from date of order.
Campers in Ireland
I've just been sent this article from the Irish Times, from Rebekah's parents in the Republic. It seems that campervanning is really taking off over there too! It's worth a read. http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/travel/2011/0813/1224302346117.html
They tried an old-style T2 VW camper; I think they'd have enjoyed something more modern, comfortable, luxurious and economical! I like the look of the old-school campers, but I'd rather zoom around in one of our new conversions!

First sunny Saturday...
Wow! What a nice warm day...soon be the season for driving off into the sunset and relaxing in a nice cosy camper! Well, with heating and insulation it always is really. I hope we can get some time off to nip down to the seaside soon and breathe some sea air.
